Celebrating Survivors Hope Parade

hey! sharing is caring :)

Join the Relay for Life of Clark County as they host a Hope Parade to celebrate cancer survivors where survivors form a car parade during this drive-thru event on Saturday, July 18, 2020.

Parade volunteers will be observing social distancing and providing special edition survivor medals and swag from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Clark College parking lot (1933 Fort Vancouver Way). At 10:55 AM vehicles will head over to Hudson’s Bay High School for a car parade and socially distant celebration. Swag bags will include donated items from community sponsors. The parade will also honor caregivers at this time too.

“All community cancer suvivors are invited to come join in the parade. Arrive no later than 10:50 AM to have your vehicle lined up and receive your survivor swag – safely handed to you in your car. Survivors will also receive a number to place on their vehicle to celebrate the number of years of survivorship!” ~ Relay for Life of Clark County

Feel free to decorate your cars and be a cheerleader in celebrating cancer survivors. Cheerleaders will be parked during the parade as the survivors will be driving the parade through the Hudson Bay parking lot.

Cheerleaders may exit cars but must wear a mask and social distance from other parties. Bring your bull horns, cowbells, clappers, home-made signs and pompoms to make some noise and cheer on survivors as they make a parade through the parking lot.
