Celebrate Women’s History Month with Lunch and “HATS”!

hey! sharing is caring :)

women_600The Clark County Historical Museum (CCHM) is hosting the Women’s History Month Luncheon on Monday, March 17th, 2014 at 11:00am.

The guest speaker is milliner Barbara Creager, designer and proprietress of Babette’s Hatworks, LLC. Come listen to her talk, “Millinery Update: Finding your style in today’s fashion landscape”, where you’ll learn how to wear and care for the hats in your life, and how to find flattering perfection in your hat choices. Barbara’s knowledge of the old art of millinery is sure to snag your interest, as well as her stories of how the love for horses and carriage driving drove her to hats.

The Grant House Restaurant will be providing a tasty lunch of sandwiches, fruit, salad, coffee, iced tea, and several choices of dessert.

The museum’s current exhibit on local and historical men’s and women’s headwear will be on display during the event. Tickets for the event are $35 for CCHM members, $40 for nonmembers. Reservations should be made by March 11th, and there is a limited number of seats, so call 360-993-5679 today!

Wear your best (or most fun!) hat, browse and purchase a hat from Babette’s Hatworks collection, and stroll down Main Street in style. March 17th is a perfect day for a fascinating talk, a tasty lunch, and hats hats hats!
