Camas Annual Plant Sale Has Moved On Up

hey! sharing is caring :)

Up the Hill, That Is.

Camas’s popular annual plant fair moved from its normal location in downtown Camas up the hill to Camas High School (26900 SE 15th Street, Camas).

The Columbia Gorge Women’s Association will be holding their 14th Annual Mother’s Day Plant and Garden Fair on Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be many indoor, outdoor, and garden plants available; as well as seedlings, veggies, trees and flowers.

Over 80 vendors will be participating this year, offering goods, services and information. There will also be a Kids Zone with free activities for kids of all ages, and three wheelbarrows full of prizes to give away! This event only happens once a year, so make sure you’re there!

With the event at Camas High School there will be much more room for venders as well as ample parking for shoppers. The move was necessary due to the popularity of the annual event.  All proceeds from the plant fair go to provide scholarships for disenfranchised homemakers in the Camas/Washougal area.

Representatives from the CGWA say they are excited about the change as there will be many opportunities to include the school community.
