Calling All Businesses, Soon-to-Be Graduates & Local Job Seekers

On February 23rd, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Battle Ground High School (300 W. Main St.) will host the Battle Ground Public School’s 2017 Industry Fair.

This is an excellent opportunity for businesses to educate the community about career opportunities in Southwest Washington and this is a must attend for students and community members wanting to learn about career paths by talking with local employers about the jobs available at their companies.


Local Businesses
Battle Ground Public Schools is accepting reservations from employers located in and around Clark County for tables at the event, where employer representatives can meet with students and community members about career opportunities.

Soon-to-Be Graduates & Job Seekers
Bring your resume on February 23rd  to Battle Ground High School. Please consider your dress, because some companies have positions open now. The event, sponsored by BGPS, WorkSource and Partners in Careers.

There will a resume writing workshop from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM in the school’s College and Career Center. The Industry Fair will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Many industries will be represented, including health science, manufacturing, technology, construction, finance, hospitality, retail, human services and transportation.

Representatives from more than 50 businesses will be available to answer questions. Participants will have a chance to ask about the skills, abilities and educational requirements to work in various jobs, along with what the work environment is like and what kinds of tasks are performed in various job roles.
