Historic Pearson Field will “Celebrate Pearson Field” on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from noon to 4:00PM. The annual celebration will ‘take-off’ at Pearson Field (located at 201-A East Reserve Street) and is hosted by Fort Vancouver National Trust, City of Vancouver and Pearson Field Advocates for General Aviation. There is no admission fee for this event and it’s scheduled to have fun-filled activities for the entire family, including:
– Open Cockpit of T-28
– View Classic Airplanes
– Model Glider Building
– Flight Simulator Lab
– Free Hot Dog Feed 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
– Live Music from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
– Learn from local search and rescue displays
