Annual Felida Children’s Parade

hey! sharing is caring :)

It’s that time of year again! Time for face-painting, games, prizes, snacks, and a good ‘ole Felida red, white, and blue Annual Children’s Parade!

Head to Felida Community Park on Saturday, July 4th, 2015. Independence Day activities start at 10:45am, and will wrap up at 2pm, but feel free to stay at the park for as long you want!

Put on those walking shoes and line up at 11am for the parade around the park. No bikes, scooters, or skateboards please. Wagons and strollers for the wee ones are ok. Dress up in your best patriotic costume. March to the live music of Dr Jim Rourk and the Vancouver Community Concert Band and wave to the spectators lining the route.

There will be display booths, games, and activities after the parade. Kids can earn prize points and redeem them for school supplies, toys, and prizes at the Felida Neighborhood Association booth.

Enjoy free fruit, cookies, bottled water, and other light snacks, and bring you own lunch to enjoy in the park.

This is a celebration of all children, July 4th, open spaces, awesome parks, and a community working together to improve the quality of life for all.

Felida Park is located between NW 122nd (south) and NW 127th (north) streets, and NW 36th Ave (west). There will be no street closures or motorized vehicles in the procession. Please no political campaigning or selling.
