The East Vancouver Costco invites the community to a free event celebrating local veterans, military, police, firefighters, EMT’s and first responders on Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
This fun event features door prizes, veteran and vendor booths, kid activities, one-night only discounts and more. Columbia Credit Union staff will be on hand “Making Life Better” with hundreds of “Random Acts of Kindness” including gas card giveaways.
This year will see the 1st Annual “Bill Morehouse Community Award” given to selected first responders who go above and beyond in their work and in their community.
Be sure to come early for the Car Show, which starts at 4:00 pm. Guests can also expect the parking lot to be full of fire, police, and military vehicles.
The 4th Annual Community Heroes Night will be held at East Vancouver Costco, 19610 SE 1st ST. Camas, WA 98607, and all visitors are welcome to shop (even if you don’t have a current membership!).
Above all, the event is a donation drive for local veterans. Costco will be accepting items needed by the local Community Military Appreciation Committee (CMAC) and the veterans they serve.
