The fifth and final Ridgefield Art Association Halloween Hall will take place in Abrams Park on Friday, October 15th, and Saturday, October 16th, starting at 6 pm.
This year’s attractions include the straw bale maze and performances by Dance Fusion, which will happen at the bottom of the hour each night. These activities will be free of charge.
For a $5 fee, you can stroll along the spooky path in the woods to enjoy the witches, spiders, skeletons, and many other fun festive sights. This event is intended to delight smaller children so there will be no bloody or excessively gory sights to cause nightmares. Halloween costumes are encouraged for all ages.
The attractions are outside, so dress for the weather. Bennett Hall will be open for seating and dining, with food provided by the Lion’s Club. The Ridgefield Library will also have a fun booth inside the Hall. Saturday night starting at 5:30, That Damn Volkswagon Club of Vancouver will line up their amazing “trick or trunk” so bring a small bag for goodies. Smokey and Napolean from Classy Camelids are also scheduled for a brief appearance (Saturday only). They are therapy animals from Mtn Peaks Therapy Llamas and Alpacas. Look for them dressed in their fine pirate costumes.
The local parking lot may fill up quickly, so consider parking at the elementary school and walking down the short hill along the sidewalk to enter the park. This event is a fundraiser for the RAA.
