It’s that time of year again where things get a little tropical in and around Esther Short Park.
Yup, the Hoike and Hawaiian Festival | 3 Days of Aloha is back and better than ever.
July 27th, 28th and 29th, 2017, don’t miss the chance to sway to the rhythm of hula dancers, learn how to make authentic Hawaiian arts and crafts, watch traditional competitions and enjoy some amazing food and beverages.
You can also participate in the Aloha 5K Fun Run, 8am-10am on July 29th. The route will loop from Esther Short Park along the river to McMenamins and back. Click HERE to register.

Hula & Craft Workshop (July 27th and 28th)
Hula dancers and crafters of Hawaiian arts pilgrimage from around the globe to attend this one of a kind workshop. Click HERE to register for workshops.
Hula Competitions (July 28th)
Friday night from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm, watch and enjoy a throw back to this early modern era of hula and music. If you think you have what it takes, register online for a chance to showcase your talents.
5K Aloha Run/Walk (July 29th)

From 10:00 am – 7:00 pm come experience the transformation as hula dancers and Polynesian singers fill the park with the heartbeat of their cultures. The is a FREE event.
