The Hazel Dell/Salmon Creek Business Association, in conjunction with Clark County Fire District 6, holds an annual Fire Awareness poster contest – and the 2021 results did not disappoint.
Dozens of entries were submitted from the eight Elementary schools in the Association neighborhoods, including Chinook, Eisenhower, Felida, Lake Shore, Hazel Dell, Sacajawea, Salmon Creek, and Sarah J Anderson.
Awards were given in each grade level, 3rd, 4th, and 5th, plus a Grand Prize winner.
Serving the local business community since 1956, the Hazel Dell/Salmon Creek Business Association has a mission to unify the Hazel Dell, Salmon Creek, and surrounding communities and publicize an area of Clark County encompassing a wide variety of resources, products, and services. The Association has successfully provided a positive forum for business owners, employees, neighborhood associations, and community representatives to gather and share information and common challenges impacting the Hazel Dell/Salmon Creek area.
