hey! sharing is caring :)

During the final days of the 2018 Clark County Fair, several contestants campaigned for a coveted spot to represent the prestigious Clark County Fair. And the 2019 Clark County Fair Court is…

Princess Sarah – A La Center High School graduate and former running start student. Sarah was a member of her schools Washington High School Equestrian Team, captain of the drill team, and won the District 2 high-point performance award. She is a member of 4H and the American Paint Horse Association. Sarah also enjoys reading, hiking, photography, and spending time with friends and family. She plans to finish her associate’s degree at Clark College and then plans to transfer to Middle Tennessee State University to study Criminal Justice.

Princess Rachel – Rachel graduated from La Center High School in 2018 where she was a member of the National Honor Society. Sh attended Running Start at Clark College and was on the Presidential Honor Roll. Rachel was on the High School Equestrian Team and earned high point in performance in 2017 and reserve high point in performance in 2018. She is a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the Appaloosa Horse Club. Rachel is also a member of 4H. She enjoys playing guitar, juggling, hiking, riding ATV’s and volunteering at Legacy Hospital. After completing her Associates at Clark College, she plans to pursue nursing school.

Princess Rebecca – Rebecca is a 4H member and enjoys being around horses whether it be training and showing or trail riding and barrel racing. She volunteers at the Memory Care Center with her dog. Her future school plans are to attend Clark College and transfer to Washington State University to become a Veterinary Technician.

Be sure to look for these ladies throughout the region at local rodeos, parades, state fairs, and many more community events throughout Oregon and Washington. Since many of the events are on horseback, they must have excellent equestrian skills and they must exhibit these skills throughout their year-long reign. You’ll also be able to see the new court in action during the 2019 Clark County Fair, next August 2nd – 11th. To see other events and locations where the Court will be appearing, visit the Clark County Fair online.
