12th Annual Recycled Arts Festival

hey! sharing is caring :)

Where else can you find more than 150 artists showcasing unique art with items made of at least 70% recycled material…well at Vancouver’s own Recycled Art Festival to be sure.

For the past 12 years Vancouver, WA has been the home to this art festival that celebrates recycling and reusing the resources around us.

Stop by Esther Short Park  between June 24th (9am – 5pm) and June 25th (10am – 4pm) and check out this free festival. Family friendly festivities are planned out for the whole day throughout the park.

Shop for unique items and gifts (impress everyone by getting early holiday shopping in) such as metal and glass garden art, sculptures, mosaics, jewelry, clothing, furniture, bird-feeders and wall art.

If you show your reusable mugs or water bottles at the info tent, you will be entered into a special drawing.

Local live music will be on the main stage, Art ala Carte will have recycled materials for young artists, the sculpture garden (always a favorite) will feature large pieces of recycled art, Couve Cycle will be giving free tours of downtown until 1 pm each day, and there will be local food carts to help fuel you up, and, well, you will have to come check out the rest!

“The Recycled Arts Festival celebrates creativity while promoting environmental sustainability,” said Sally Fisher, environmental outreach specialist. “I’m always amazed at the novel ways these artists turn trash into art.”

Don’t miss out on this fun tradition in downtown Vancouver.
