It Takes a Full House to Fight Cancer.
I’ve heard it said that eventually, all our lives will be touched by Cancer. I can tell you from personal experience, Cancer doesn’t “touch” anything. It’s more like it hits you over the head with a bat, knocks the wind out of you, and pushes you to the ground…for starters.
Cancer may or may not be in your cards, but you can help give hope to all those who do hear the words, “You have cancer.” The Portland to Coast Team Absolut Mess is having a Poker and Bunco Fundraising Party on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 7pm at the Centennial Center, Red Lion Inn at the Quay (100 Columbia Street, Vancouver). All funds raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
The Texas Hold ‘Em winner will receive $500, and there will be lots of prizes for the Bunco players. In addition, you will be able to enjoy a Silent Auction, Raffles, Door Prizes, Balloon Game, and more. Light snacks will be provided and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are available at the door, and are $50 for Poker and $30 for Bunco.
