Well the City of Vancouver’s Water Resources Education Center has combined both of these with “Reading in the Wild”. This FREE story-time hour takes reading to the great outdoors in series that is geared for young readers 3 years to 6 years old. Every Thursday, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, the program connects fun stories with nature activities.
Columbia Springs invite explorers of all ages and abilities to experience a one of a kind urban nature adventure. Family Nature Fest features a sing-along with “Recycle Man”, Oregon Zoo animals, trout hatchery tours, Spanish/English bilingual nature hike, “Forest Pharmacy Hike,” and a comedy and magic show by Rose Festival’s “Clown Prince,” Angel Ocasio. The event also includes activities for toddlers, a scavenger hunt, and more!
