Watershed Stewards Volunteer Training

Because We All Live Downstream.

Learn what you can do to maintain healthy watersheds for your community, fish and wildlife and future generations. The Stream Stewards Program is free of charge for Clark County residents, and offers hands-on, professional level workshops. Classes will be on Thursdays September 6 through November 8, 2012 from 6:30-9:00 pm at the Clark County Operations Conference Center – 4700 NE 78th Street (St. Johns and 78th Street), Vancouver.

Offered by WSU Clark County Extension in partnership with Clark County Environmental Services, Watershed Steward training uses community experts and environmental professionals to teach the basics of ecology, hydrology, stream restoration, and the importance of native plants and fish.
