This upcoming Saturday, May 16th at Columbia Springs there is a great opportunity to get your hands dirty and help give back to the community. If you show up from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, you can join others in the community to participate in environmental restoration and projects that improve Columbia Springs’ 100-acre natural area and the historic Vancouver Trout Hatchery. Projects for the whole family may include gardening, painting, trail maintenance, and more. As a bonus, every Stewardship Saturday includes a lesson about local ecology to start the day and concludes with a fun activity like a craft or nature hike.
All ages and abilities are welcome, but it is asked that kids under 14 have parent or guardian supervision and teens under 16 have parent or guardian permission.
Snacks will be provided. Please bring sturdy shoes, water bottle and dress for the weather. To sign-up or if you have questions…email: [email protected] or please call (360) 882-0936 ext. 230
