Show Your Red, White & Blue in Clark County, WA

hey! sharing is caring :)

It is that time of year…time to celebrate with friends, family and fireworks. For us that live and play in Clark County, WA the 4th of July is so much more than the pyrotechnics that light up the sky after dusk. We take pride in showing our red, white and blue, truly embracing the celebration of our country’s independence. To match our enthusiasm about this holiday, you will find activities all around town kicking off early in the day and lasting until that firework finale.

There is something that fits just about everyone: the little ones, teens…on up to the kiddo at heart. Below you will find a list of what is going on July 4th, 2015, broken down based on the area of town. PLEASE CHECK BACK…we will be updating this list as we get news of activities in town.

Before you set off for a full day of events, check out these safety tips to help make your day safe and festive:

  • Leave pets at home with some food and lots of water where they will feel safe and stay cool. Don’t take your furry friends along with the plan to leave them in a parked car, even with the windows open or in the shade.
  • Leave the fireworks to the professionals. However if you do want your own light display, make sure they are legal in your area and closely supervise children around fireworks at all times.
  • Make certain to stay hydrated. With the hot temps we can have here, your body can quickly loose water. Drink lots water or a sports drink to stay ahead of the game.
  • Dress in layers and bring something to grab when it gets a bit cooler at night.
  • A day around crowds can be fun, but have a game plan for the family if someone gets lost. Point out a meeting place to regroup if needed and talk to the younger ones about who is safe to trust to get help.
