Second Saturdays 2015| Free Community Event at the Water Center

hey! sharing is caring :)

Kicking off this Saturday, February 14th at the Water Resources Education Center (WREC) is an exciting, educational and FREE event for the whole family…Second Saturdays.

Every month on the second Saturday (from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on most dates…see below schedule for more details) make your way down to explore hands-on activities, games and stories. Each month will have it’s own educational theme and activities.

So why is WREC offering this amazing community opportunity each month? The Water Resources Education Center strives to inspire the community, especially the next generation, to become better stewards of our water resources and to educate people of all ages how to wisely use this important natural resource. Second Saturday is an opportunity for the community to come together for an afternoon of fun and to learn something new. So bring your family, all shapes and sizes, down to WREC this Saturday.
