Local Independent Short Film Premiers June 26th at The Kiggins

This is a great area to live in. The community is rich with artistic and creative offerings, including independent films. On June 26th you can view a sample of this type of project at the iconic Kiggins Theater, in downtown Vancouver. The short film, Unmarked, will have its premier screening which will include a talk back sessions with the cast and crew.

Unmarked, a Marble Mountain Films production, was filmed entirely in Clark County, WA. The film follows the story of a teenage girl and her boyfriend who venture into the woods and make some strange discoveries before they disappear. The girl’s older sister ventures out looking for answers and in the process uncovers a well-guarded secret while being pursued by the spirit of a young girl. The production utilized an all-volunteer cast and crew and relied on only practical effects. Several local businesses and organizations assisted in making this project a success by providing access for filming.


The premier screening will show at 1011 Main Street at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm).Tickets are $5.00 and will be available at the door. You can view the official trailer at http://vimeo.com/96943834.

Marble Mountain Films is in pre-production for their next project Dead Lake. This will be a feature film and is scheduled to be shot in Ridgefield, WA and the surrounding areas. Dead Lake will also utilize a volunteer cast and crew. Marble Mountain Films is a local film production company owned by Ryan Erlandsen.
