Hazel Dell’s 51st Anniversary of the Parade of Bands

hey! sharing is caring :)

The Wild, Wild West will be rolling through Hazel Dell for the 51st anniversary of the Parade of Bands on Saturday, May 16th, 2015 beginning at 10:30am. The parade will be led by Grand Marshal Retired Clark County Sheriff Garry Lucas.

Start the day off early with a trip to Station 61 in Hazel Dell, for the Lion’s Club annual Pancake Breakfast. Tickets are available at the event, $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for seniors and children (under 5 is free). Breakfast will be served from 7 to 10am.

After the bellies are full, find your spot on the parade route. Rain or shine, bands from all over the area will be striking a cord, rocking the tunes, and entertaining the sidewalk sitting audience like never before. You’ll see students from all over… Centennial High, Mountain View, Columbia River, Moses Lake, and so many more. And Discovery Middle School, winner of last year’s Battle of the Bands is back!

Join the fun on the Hazel Dell Parade of Bands Facebook page, where you’ll see great pictures from last year, and have the chance to connect with the many local sponsors of this epic event.

The Parade of Bands attracts tens of thousands cheering spectators each year… mark your calendars, you’ll want to be one of them!
