Between busy schedules and all the digital distractions, good connected family fun can be hard to come by these days. Well the Firstenburg Community Center has a solution to this problem by hosting a FREE Family Fun Day and Movie Night filled with tons of active options.
On Saturday, November 22, 2014, grab the whole family and head down to the community center at 12:00 pm for some swimming, climbing, basketball, pickleball, and playgroup for the little ones. The Teen Zone will open up at 1:00 pm and the family friendly movie “The Lego Movie” will start at 6:30 pm. Check out below everything that the Firstenburg Community Center has to offer.
This is meant for family time, but this is open to everyone. Kiddos ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
A Day Full of Activities at Family Fun Day & Movie Night
Public Swims Session Start Times:
12:00 pm, 1:45 pm, 3:15 pm, 5:00 pm
A limited number of bracelets will be handed out an hour before each session.
A maximum of 100 swimmers will be allowed at each session.
Climbing Wall Session Start Times:
12:00 pm, 12:45 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:15 pm, 3:00 pm, 3:45 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:15 pm
A maximum of 12 climbers will be allowed at each session.
Climbing wall bracelets will be handed out 3o minutes before each session.
A Climbing Wall waiver must be signed by a legal guardian. Click here to print the waiver.
Gymnasium Sessions:
12:00 pm to 4:00 pm Basketball shooting in Gym 1
12:00 pm to 1:30 pm Drop-in Pickleball in Gym 2
2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Playgroup for ages 6 and under in Gym 2
Fitness Center:
12:00 pm to 8:00 pm The fitness center and track will be open to use
Teen Zone:
1:00 pm to 6:00 pm The Zone will be open to all ages
FREE Movie and Popcorn: The Lego Movie
Join us at 6:30 PM in the gym for popcorn and the The Lego Movie on the big screen!
A limited number of seating will be available. Other seating will be on the gym floor.
Outside chairs will not be allowed, however feel free to bring something soft to sit on. Access to the gym will be at 6 PM to secure a spot.
Food will not be allowed in the gym, water only. Popcorn will be provided and allowed.
Ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
