Keep the Christmas Spirit Going. The NE Hazel Dell Neighborhood Association in partnership with Three Creeks Community Partners is holding a “Christmas in July” toy drive and collecting toys for children in need early this year!
According to Doug Ballou of Three Creeks Community Partners, they expect to be helping over 500(!) kids and their families this coming holiday season. You can help! Drop off new, unwrapped toys at any of the following locations from July 5 through August 2, 2015:
Burgerville USA – 99th Street and Hwy 99
McDonald’s – 99th Street in Stockford Village
McDonald’s – Salmon Creek 129th Street/Hwy 99
Need a suggestion on what to get? Toy cars and trucks, baby dolls, action figures, Legos, play tool sets, play tea sets, sports balls, books, crayons and coloring books, board games, puzzles, jewelry, arts and crafts sets. Just use your best judgement, when you are helping kids that might now have anything otherwise… there is no wrong answer here. :)
