A fun celebration of dogs on July’s First Friday! July 3rd, 5-8pm. Doggie fashion shows with prizes, vendors, kids’ crafts with a dog theme, fun in participating businesses, outdoor activities for your dog, and more! Bring your favorite pooch (leashes required) and make a fun night of it!
The West Columbia Gorge Humane Society will be on hand with info on dog adoption and a fun “Find the Treat” game for your dogs!
The Fashion Shows/Costume Contests will be at 6pm and 7pm and will have judging for the cutest, most creative, and the funniest costumes at each show. Sign up by 15 minutes before each show at the DCA table when you get to the event. The event will be between 4th and 5th on Cedar Street. No cost to enter.
It’s hot, so Naturally Healthy Pet will be providing cooling pools and icy treats and the fashion shows will be in the shade :).
In participating merchants downtown, guess the dog breed in each location and earn tickets to win great prizes from the merchants!
“Millie the Dog” by the Liberty Theatre will be dressed up for the event–make sure to stop by and take your picture with her.
There will be live music with Caryn Jamieson Music from 5:30-8! Plus Anthony Utehs and Andrew Dodge playing guitar from 4-5:30. The Live music will be at 4th and Cedar, Downtown Camas.
If all that wasn’t enough, Lassie is coming to Downtown Camas for July’s First Friday, too! Special $3 admission price at Liberty Theatre of Camas-Washougal with $1 of each ticket going to the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society. 8pm. A classic!
